Title
Track Removal Gang at Glanrafon Sidings.
Track removal gang at Glanrafon Sidings, Autumn 1941. The siding leading to the quarry incline is still in situ to the right of the works train. George Cohen, Sons & Co. Ltd with 40hp Simplex locomotive. The large flat with the loaded sleepers is possibly the frame from the Cleminson open waggon. The rail bolsters are ex-NWNG slate. This is the northern gang working towards Dinas, the section around Pitts Head having been left in situ for use by the military. Llyn Cwellyn in the background.
